Our Story
Let's be real: running a business, no less a restaurant, is harder than ever. And, we know it's tough for our communities to support all of us. Time and money are precious resources for everyone! Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen is our simple solution by and for the operators of Downtown Greensboro restaurants that highlights the talent and culture of our city. It also furthers a sense of community, connection, and support in a world that is feeling fragmented and isolated.
Individually, we are: Machete, Yokai, Savor the Moment, Chez Genèse, Blue Denim, Breakfast in Paris, Neighbors, Cheesecakes by Alex, The Historic Magnolia House, 'Cille and 'Scoe, Chandlers, Lewis & Elm, and Jerusalem Market.
Together, we are Downtown Greensboro.

Restaurant Box Details
2 boxes - each one unique
Select the restaurant box of your choice:
Southend Box - Chez Genese, Savor the Moment, Blue Denim, Neighbors, and Yokai
Northend Box - MACHETE, Jerusalem Market, The Historic Magnolia House, Cille and Scoe, and Breakfast in Paris
Chandler's and Lewis & Elm partnering as add ons for all boxes!
What's included in each box?
Food for 4 people from your favorite Downtown restaurants. Items and meals (12-16 meals depending on the box) will change with each pick up and will be outlined in the subscription details. All items will be fully prepared, easy to reheat, and have the option to freeze if you need to save something for later.
Please specify allergies at checkout. We plan to include preference style boxes as we grow (vegetarian, GF, etc), but we are currently limited in the accommodations we can provide as a group!
What's the price?
$240-250 per box, depending on the box you select. We recommend sharing boxes with friends if it's more food than you or your family can personally eat! (Each meal averages 12.50/per person.)
Where do I pick up?
Each box will have a designated weekly restaurant pick up spot! For example, if you order the Southend box, your weekly pick up spot will be Chez Genèse. Your pick up spot and details will always be outlined when you order.
